Ordering Seafood online is now as smooth as a breeze!

How many times have you tried to land fresh seafood on the  wet market and failed? Sometimes it seems like no matter how early you wake up you still find yourself standing in front of a persistent vendor and staring straight at a stale fish’s eye. Not really the situation you’d want to be in. 

It is even more difficult now that this pandemic is causing us all to be locked in our homes, unable to freely shop where we want and restricted to the only products available at the nearest supermarket and plaza. And although it seems fairly at ease now in terms of health guidelines, Philippines, especially cities like Metro Manila still experiences occasional lockdowns. 

Thankfully though, the options are all laid out on the table and dozens of online shops have emerged. Vast scopes of species of seafood and other varieties were made available for customers. All that is left is to browse and click and all the seafood products will pop up like cooked squid balls in a hot pan of oil. This process is not only time and effort conserving, but it is also convenient especially when you can’t squeeze anymore time in your schedule to shop for another stock. 

There is no denying that online seafood deliveries are easily the quickest way of stocking the ocean in your own refrigerator.  But of course, you still have to make sure that wherever you order the food is reliable and safe, a lot of which these online businesses are willing to guarantee. The only con of online delivery services is that it lacks the homemade touch of the food we prepare inside our kitchen, but for the most part I think we can handle that just as steady as how a frozen seafood melts on a pot.
